Hey everyone. Went out with a buddy to the local hot rod/classic car show in town. All these shots are with my xti and 50mm 1.8. Thanks for looking :)

#1 is off center and there is something sticking in from the lower right hand corner.

#1 and #3 look like a fake background blur. Was it added in post?

I like #2

It's off center because I didn't want to get the car next to it in the shot. If I moved in with the fixed 50mm I would have lost part of the hood in the picture. No background blur added. Shot both about 12 feet away @ f/1.8.

#2 is my favorite also.

Here are a few more shots of the silver one. I didn't like most of the other shots I took. This guy was so detailed on his car. Reminds me of a mad max style car. Wrenches on the steering wheel and knife for a trans dip stick

Thanks for the welcome

That dipstick handle is prolly one of a kind.
Was the owner of this rig an older person. Looks like something i would do.

The owner wasn't around when I took the shots. Everything on this ride was one of a kind.

Vry cool shots. That 1.8 is a slick lens. Can't wait to get more shooting with mine. Welcome!

Was just giving him some CC. Wasn't trying to be mean. I personally like posts like the one that I gave rater than the "good shot". Thats me though.

That being said I didnt look at the OPs post count as I rarely do. Plus I dont have a cool "Welcome To Transportation" welcome like photosguy.

Car shows are tough & you did an OK job with it. Plus I dont have a cool "Welcome To Transportation" welcome like photosguy. Don't whine! Make your own like I did. Or don't. ;)

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I'll be posting more pics when I get my car out of the body shop and get all the finishing touches done.

i think for #1 you should've shot it in portrait view, that way you dont get the cars next to it and it doesnt look too cropped
