well first off you are using a really cute baby so its kinda hard to focus on the details of teh picture. She is really cute. But if you want my 2 cents on the technical factors here goes:
1. she looks rather "orange" to me. this is probably due to the lighting in the room. regular household lights emit a reddish/orange hue. i learned this just recently through some bad pics I took. To overcome this, shoot in raw and adjust the white balance later or do a custom white balance or try the indoor light white balance mode on your camer (the lttle lightbulb).
2.she seems a little dark and there is not much detail in her eyes. Right behind her is a well lit window (aka a missed oppurtunity). What you could do next time is get her closer to that window and use the available light to brighten her up. youll get the detail in her eyes and maybe some catchlights, which is the key to a good portrait. You ahve a catchlight in her right eye..see how nice that looks?
3. the picture could use a little sharpening, which can be done in photoshop.

yeah she did turn a little yellow. It definitely helped bring out those pretty eyes though. if you shot it in raw, play with the white balance. i think if you click on flourescent or indoor it will clean up perfectly. if not, try to warm it up a bit, i think you went too cool on the tones. or Try the auto color button, see what happens. :)
