There isn't an overall equipment section, so to the lounge this goes.
I'm looking at all the things I could want for my camera, but I want to make sure if I buy stuff, it's what I need. ...or maybe I don't need anything at all. And maybe my question isn't about landscapes at all.
I have a 50mm 1.4 and a 90mm 2.8. I did some abandoned building shooting this weekend and I think I was ok, but I'm not sure. Would I have been happier or better off with some different range? I like my 50mm, but it can be a bit long at times on my crop camera. But then, I just back up.
I just picked up a 550ex flash, and would like to get a second flash and some accessories to get the flash(s) off camera. Then get some volunteers to model for me outside this summer for practice. This might be priority. Or maybe I'll be ok with just one flash off camera?
I used my old 18-55 kit lens once this year, because I couldn't back up far enough to capture the remains of an old farm house, due to a busy road. The picture came out ok if I resized it down, but do I invest in good glass to cover that area?
