I was back at Brands yesterday for the BTCC. Here's a handful of shots of the touring cars and the support programme. Not had a chance to go through them all yet, so I just picked out a handful on a quick scan through what was on the card.

I think you forgot to pan on the last one ;)
They look good, I like the mix of angles and tilts.

I don't remember Brands having that many steep hills

Nice sharpe shots and nice colours but IMHO the angles spoil the shots.

Yeah, we've had the angles discussion about my photos before, so I don't really need the sarcasm. It's a personal preference.
I'd appreciate any constructive critism on anything apart from the tilt though.

What lens setup are you using matey? photos have a very fresh look about them
like the flame catch on number 2 but they are all pretty sharp and crisp , i decided to go more angley with the cam on sunday , works on some i think but not others :)

All of these are taken with my EF70-300 IS mounted on an EOS 20D. :)

Very nice indeed squire. Your panning is nailed. I'm not overly keen on "creating" angles, these seem ok to me only #1 is a bit much IMO.
Ahh the good ol' 20D, classic. Regretted selling mine :(
Oh only thing I would say, if you were there on raceday it'd be good to try and show some racing, more than one or two cars in shot :)
cheers

Cheers for the comments - this was only my fourth attempt at motorsports and second race meeting (done two F1 tests also), so I appreciate the advice.
Any tips to for corners to try that at Brands? I've got a few pics with multiple cars in them (mostly at turn 1), but I don't think they really give the impact of a closeup. Looking at your website, you have some great pics of multiple cars, but it looks like you're viewing from the press areas. I couldn't replicate those without contending with wire fences, so I tried to keep to areas where the lower fences were. I'd probably need a bigger lens too?

Sharp, well framed and exposed good colour and action. But without lying and without sarcasm the angles suck, and to quote someone not to far away, Its a personal preference. :-)
