I know this is kind of a sports shot but I don't think of myself as a sports shooter. That is why I put this in the People Forum. It just happens to be a sports activity but I view it more as a people shot.

My daughter had practice a few days ago. What a beautiful day. The fields were dripping with saturated color. Took the 300 2.8 (non IS) & 1D MkII out for a spin. Gotta love slow pitch softball.

My son is just off on his own playing in the dirt, waiting for practice to end. As I said the fields were dripping with color and light.

Yes she did. Down the first base line right at me. One example why monopods are good for sports shooting.

I know the feeling you went through w/ sports practice. Last weekend I brought my 7 yr old daughter to basketball practice and had my 4 yr old son w/ me. She practice and he got into anything/everything he could for the hour of practice.... GET OFF THE FLOOR.... COME OVER HERE. :)

I really do like the colors in your picture.... and the shots themselves.

I am sure you do know the feeling. He was bored. He kept throwing dirt (making smoke as he called it) and throwing stones at the backstop. I brought his T-ball tee and a dozen balls (amazing that a dozen balls costs $15 at the Sports "megastores"). That lasted about 15 minutes. Ahhh the joys of parenthood

Rob
