Shooting MLB in the DC Area

I am thinking about a road trip, or two to the DC area to catch some Orioles and National games. Any issues with getting a 1D Mk II + 100-400mm in at Camden Yards and Nationals Park?

This is from the Orioles' website:

Camera/Video Equipment
Guests are welcome to bring cameras and video recorders into the ballpark for personal use. However, any photographic equipment cannot be used to reproduce the game and must not interfere with other fans' enjoyment of the game.

And the Nationals':

Cameras And Video Equipment
Guests are permitted to bring cameras and video equipment into Nationals Park, provided that they are intended for personal use only. Cameras with a lens longer than 8 inches may not be brought inside of the ballpark, except by credentialed media. Taping of any game footage is strictly prohibited by Major League Baseball. Guests are not permitted to stand in the aisles, portals or walkways, or obstruct others from viewing the game while taking photographs. Monopods and tripods are not permitted in the ballpark.

Isn't the 100-400 just a hair under 8in?

Ive been in the DC area for a few years now and Ive been to both parks my 100-400 on my 5d on a few occasions with no problems. Unlike some of the smaller-market stadiums the ushers at both of these parks tend to be a bit strict about moving into another section. It doesnt hurt to try it ,though.

Never had a problem at Camden or RFK. I haven't tried at Nats park yet.
