Just purchased an SD300 camera, shot a test video and it is "stamped" with a PIC Video label at the top of the screen and www.jpg.com (http://www.jpg.com) at the bottom of the screen. How did that occur? How do you keep it from happening? Definitely an eyesore on the screen that I want to eliminate as quickly as possible.

Thanks.

Found the answer. Canon's software uses a demo version of the PIC compression codec, so it stamps the video. You can upgrade for $14 or . . . as I did . . . exported the avi to a QT mov format and the stamp disappeared. What a pain.

Actually . . . it wasn`t the Canon software, but the PIC codec was installed in Windows Media Player on the last upgrade download (v10). Hmmm.
