First attempt at baby photos

Hi all

Had my wife's cousin's little one stop over at the weekend and decided to try and make the most of the opportunity and grab some "proper" baby photos. The 2 below are probably the best of about 40 pics I took.

Any C&C would be more than welcome.

Rich - I think these are quite good captures. The eyes are great. I just think they are cropped a little to tight - cutting off the top of the head in the first and ear in the second.

Still, with a bit of curves adjustment (add some brightness and contrast), they'd still make for some nice pics for the parents. I think the second one might also work as a B&W.

I agree - very nice. I was thinking the second would be great in BW too. The baby's expression lends itself to a b/w mood.

Cute baby. But you need little more light on the face.
