Hi all, I just thought that I'd put a post on to say that there's another one born every minute...a canon user that is. I've just put a order in for a 300d kit, grip and a sigma 100-300 f4 lens. Thanks to all that gave me some advice but I came to the realisation that the credit card just wouldn't stretch to L glass and that the sigma should suit the needs for the forseeable future. Good news is that it is also compatible with the TC so I can expand it if i feel the need. I've also got a POTN strap on the way (ordered that b4 the camera :lol: ) so keep an eye out at a few UK airshows this year.

Don't feel bad at all having to choose that model sigma,it's a great one:)
If not as sharp as a 70-200/4L ,it's very close!

Actually you aer about right based on Canon's camera sales figures for 2004, they sold 600000 DSLR's, that is a little over one a minute, and 13 Million compacts, that is almost one every 2 seconds :eek:
