For the rest of the Mac-heads out there, you can breathe a sigh of relief. Tiger is coming to retailers near you on the 29th of April.

I just ordered my copy from the online store using an educational discount, the total ended up being $72 after taxes. Free shipping, and it's supposed to arrive on the 29th, not be shipped on the 29th.

Can't wait to get my hands on it. :-D

I've been looking at some of the stuff on apple's website, and if it is as they say, it will be a revolution as far as graphics and image/video editing.

That core image technology thingie (using the video card co-processor to handle all the processing instead of the processor) if it works as described (almost real-time), might make me jump from Windows XP, and many others I would guess. I can't wait for it to come out and hear you guys' reviews on it.

I bought and paid for mine last July . . . I claim to be the 'First' person in the world to buy a copy of Tiger. LOL, of course I don't have it in my hands, not until the 29th but my recipt shows that I am UNO ONE-O.

I can't wait. Now to get PSCS2 at the same time . . .

In case anybody is thinking of buying Tiger at full price, Amazon.com has a rebate of $35.00 for the single copy license, bringing the price after rebate to $95.00, and $50.00 for the family pack, bring that price down to $150.00. Rebate is good for purchases until 5/31/2005.
