Not bad at all (nice shots BTW), some of the controls feel clunky at times and it loads a little slow (at least for me...but then again you are in Australia).

Looks good to me. Really crisp and really pro, not to mention some nice shots.

Save your images for web and devices. If Mac in photoshop (CMD+ALT+SHIFT+S) if PC (CNTRL+ATL+SHIFT+S) Set them to around 60 percent quality jpg. The images should be about 50-60k in size. This will dramatically reduce your load times and the photos will look identical. Gorgeous photos though, very nice job.

Nice design , Looking good to me.
About SEO, As you are using All in 1 SEO so basic SEO is done but you can't do much as you are showing images in flash, So can't give title, alt tags etc. As its a Photography site doesn't have much Content.
The only thing i didn't like is,

The right bar, I think if it comes in Some Box or in some style that will look batter as links in a column is not looking good.
Good Shots :)

Really well thought out site. Did you design it yourself? I think the Contact page is slightly too much but hey it serves the purpose.

Thanks for the feedback.
I took your advice and removed the right nav entirely... its just a repeat of the nav above - so it's now gone!

From an SEO standpoint, your on-page SEO looks fine. Your title and description tags are good - and that's really all you get with a flash and images site. If you have trouble ranking well in the search engines, you might consider using an HTML landing page with some keyworded text content that Google et al will actually read and index - this helps immensely. See www.simple-treasures.net for an example. And check out this article about off page optimization and links (http://www.tampa-bay-fl-search-seo.com/The_Power_of_LINKS.pdf) for some more useful info. And of course, good luck!

Takes a long time (in the U.S.) for me to load the site and individual pics (I'm on a fast pipe). But you're in AU, your customers are there and the server may be also, so it may be a moot point.

3 second load time (Fast to due being in Aus aswell). The only thing that is bugging me is the menu titles in lowercase due me being used to "Home, About" etc with a capital at the front.
Besides that it looks great :)

SEO: you can also load wordpress's SEO plugin. it helps :)
The Site: it looks some what typical of a wordpress site, clunky and rough around the edges. i fight with this often as i design wordpress pages. you might want to search for themes and grab some of their css to make it look a little cleaner.
