Bump for re-edit... per the comments made, I've gotten rid of the distracting reflection behind the rear wheel....
thoughts?

I like it. Curious: what's going on behind the rear wheel?

I like it , would have like to have seen a more interesting background though.
Great job on the actual shot though.

Beats me, I'm guessing the car ran over a little branch that spun around under the wheel. I didn't edit this area with any rendering tools/clones or anything like that. The distortion was in the original shot as well...

What sort of kit did you use for this shot and how did you do it.
Nice shot BTW.

Come on, collectively you both have over 40,000 posts and you've never seen something like that?
It's the sun's reflection off of the polished wheel. Look at the ground next to the front wheel, see the reflection? If his boom had slight bounce to it, that would cause "leaves or bad editing"

I still think it was a branch caught under the wheel... :)

I should probably go back and clone it out... I guess it's a major eyesore... :)

Sorry to sidetrack, but what exactly is an EMT pole and where could I get one?
Awesome shot though! I hate not being able to shoot these yet.

EMT stands for Electrical Metallic Tubing - it's a metal-made conduit for electrical uses. The pole serves as the boom in rig shots.
All the info and 411 on rig shots is in this thread: Official Automotive Rigs - DIY Thread (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=490505)
