Very nice start indeed! I use this lens for shooting the moon all the time.

I thought I'd post mine since I shot it last night too with a 55-250.

I definitely like yours better. Sharper.

What settings did you use? Did you have a tripod?

It was pretty cloudy so I will try again once the moon renews (just about full now).

I used a tripod, manual focus using live view at 10x's zoom

Focal Length: 200mm

100% crop, center of frame
2 passes of USM in CS2
Upload and resize to 600 pixels
