Hello,
After being frustrated with the underexposure problem of the Canon D60 in both flash and no-flash photography I have decided to go for the 1Ds. Do you know if the 1Ds suffers from the same issue?. I have read reviews about the 1Ds and none of the mention this issue?. Has the problem been fixed?.
Best regards,

Hello,
I really wish it was a consistent under exposure of 1 stop (that would be a simple thing to fix). For my camera it can be as severe as 2.5 stops under in no flash photography and even worse when using flash. I had tried different technique including shooting in manual mode and adding up to 2 stops to the flash compensation. When I am shooting static subjects it is not a problem because I can check the histogram with every single shot and compensate accordingly. The problem is with journalistic and candid shooting. I don't want to be at the mercy of a capricious machine. I have upgraded the firmware and I still have the same problem.
If I can fix the underexposure problem and at the same time double the resolution I think getting the 1Ds could be a smart move.
