I had the pleasure of vacationing in Ireland a couple of weeks ago. I was on a ferry crossing the River Shannon and took this picture. I consider this type of picture to be a picture of luck. This picture has not been touched other than decreasing its size so I can post it on this forum. I do not have the settings of my camera that I used for this photo. Tell me what you think, is it a critically correct photo? Do you like it? I shot it with my EOS 300 and the standard 18-55mm lense.

Sweet pic, it would make an excellent postcard... a gloomy postcard, but an excellent one none the less!!

lovely shot; I live about 500 yards from the River Shannon - can you remember which county you were when you took this one? - was it co Limerick?

I really like this. It could be a postcard, so many postcards are of nice weather, this one would be great. Thanks for posting.
