Another first attempt at the Moon

As the title states this is my first go round. I used my new Monopod and a 70-300. Any Comments would help! Thanks

Is that a 70-300 "L" series lens? Because it's a lovely crisp shot...well done, one of the better "first attempt at the moon" shots I've seen on here.

Thanks! It is the 70-300 f4-5.6 IS USM. I don't have a tripod so I was using my Monopod which was a bit awkard. I think I tripod would definetly be easier!
