Speedway Bikes On Ice

Took these back in February when the ice on the bay was still solid. I had been walking the dog and heard motorcycyes in the distance so I went to investigate. There were all kinds of bikes and three different tracks laid out. I don't think I could have gotten these shots with a 50mm lens as I would fear being run over. Didn't do much editing on them , and I know the white balance is off, just wanted to try down loading these images from Photobucket as I was having some problems in the past.

The white balance is slightly off but really not that noticable. I agree, I don't think I would have tried a 50m lens on this occasion either, let alone get on the bikes.
