Hey guys, here is a short film (5 min) of my Oahu trip from last month. It was shot with my 5D Mark II and edited/published in Adobe Premiere CS4. I must say that the 5D is as awesome as it is in low light for video as it is for stills. C&C welcome and encouraged. However, the video is slightly choppy due to Vimeo having to convert from 29.7 to 23 fps. Thanks for watching!

You may want to let it buffer for a bit to avoid further choppiness.

that was a great video, you did a fine job... the fire shots were clean, and that last shot of your significant other at the end of the vid was really good.

have you considered uploading it to youtube? i'm wondering what the panning shots would look like at 30p.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the feedback. :D I actually tried Youtube first, but unfortunately they are blocking the audio due to copyright infringment (booo).

I like it looks good, but it seems kinda jumpy. Is that the norm for HD video?

it's stuttery on the pan shots, which as he mentioned, is due in part to the way that vimeo cuts the frame rate from 30p to 24p.

maybe go download the original file that he uploaded to youtube, see how the pan shots compare to the re-encoded vimeo version.

Jeez I think you got yourself a new hobby/job (looking at your other videos). The Suite 181 video was really nice as well! Really well done!
