Jambo from Dar es Salaam!!

We had 44 "Safari Seekers" join us for our February trip to Tanzania to the Ngorogoro Crater and Seregeti for the calving season.....one huge nursery.

We are now planning a mid July trip to Kenya for the "Great Migration". Last year we caught 3 crossings, one over an hour long with the croc taking down a wildebeest, and a pair of cheetahs waiting for them to reach the top of the bluff and they were off and took only minutes to bring down their kill. We do over 12 days, but this year broke it off during a safari of some of the other parks first, and then to Masai Mara for 2nts on each side of the Mara River trying to once again experience the thrill. The past 2yrs we have been very luck and have caught it and just when you thought it couldn't get any better, it does!! Anyone interested, just let me know, as we would love to have more photo hunters join the group. I will be posting pics soon both of the Feb 09 trip and the Migration 08 trip. Pics don't do them justice......the sounds of the thousands and thousands of wildebeest is amazing!!

Asante sana

We are now planning the Safari Seekers Migration Trip to Kenya for August 2010 should anyone be interested. Last year we had 21 folks join in and had a wonderful time, although Kenya was in the midst of a terrible drought. We did our annual February Birthing Safari to Serengeti and the Crater and had 31 people and as always weren't disappointed. After living in Africa over 12 yrs now, the past 5 in Tanzania, we will be reassigned to Kenya in a few months, so no disappointment there.
