Does it matter if you leave the BG-E2 on? Generlly I always leave my camera on, but when I do turn it off I don't turn off the battery grip. Bad....good....indifferent?

FYI I havn't had any problems with mine, just the battery showing low problem.

Isn't that a problem then ;)
And PS, it doesn't matter if you leave the grip switch on.

I understand that the off swich is there just so you don't change your shutter speed by accident rubbing your hand over the grip controls or whatever.

the on/off switch only activates your buttons on the grip, nothing else. If your camera is off, your grip is off too

Even while shooting I keep my grip off on my 300D, I only turn it on when I think I am going to be using it. I know that doing it this way is not always convienent, but I am anal about leaving things on when I am not using it.
