Not so sure if this should have been in Landscapes but the pretty girl (wife) in the frame suggested here was the right place

Wonderful scene, I know where that is and all I can say is “Roll on 13th May!”
Great colour changes from the sand to the sea to the sky and the jetty is a great lead in, and your wife helps as well.:D
Hope you had a good time, and please post more pictures.
P.S You need to change your sig now

Great time other than a night spent wondering if there was another Tsunami on its way!
Took about 2,500 pictures in all and am still ploughing through them all. Have posted another couple in Landscapes and Animals.
Diving and snorkelling was fantastic this time round and with a sea temp of 29deg.
Chris
ps, yeah, sig does need changing

Pretty much straight out of the camera, very minor levels tweak. I did use a CPL so that tends to saturate the colours a bit.

What is happening in Brighton on the 13th May?

Nothing happening in Brighton (ever) - was just trying to be funny.
I just thought how beautiful the beach/sea looked compared to our beaches in the UK.

LOL I hear you. I am pretty lucky. 3 hours to the beach. 2 hours to the mountains. It's a nice balance. The location you posted is absolutely gorgeous though. Wow!!

i must be getting old. in my younger days a nice looking woman ina bikini wouldnt ahve missed my eyes. the first time i saw this i missed her. beautiful shot. nice use of "leading lines". i think i would like to see her somewhere else in the pic though, just not sure where though. maybe sitting on the pier leaning back a little catching soem rays (face towards the sun?) i dunno, maybe not.

Wonderful composition, with or without your wife in it. As for her, she would look fine anywhere in the scene.

Thanks folks. Coming from a dull climate where f8 at 1/125 are good light conditions, it is strange to be somewhere where f/32 @ 1/1000 with a CPL in place are the norm :-)
