iPhoto5 plugin for Rebel XT?

I wanted to import some RAW photos into my iPhoto5 but quickly found out that the RebelXT is not supported by iPhoto- I know its a new camera so I am wondering if any one has seen or heard of a future update?

I go through an external reader with a 10d and it works fine. I am not sure why it should not work with a 350xt as the file format would be the same I imagine.

The XT uses .cr2 for RAW, similar to, but not the same, as the 20D. The only program that seems to open XT RAW files is Rawshooter. The 10D/DReb use a completely different RAW format.
