Finally my pics from today's trip to Los Angeles Zoo.
Rented on Monday the Canon 100-400 IS lens. Was supposed to go on monday, but was not able to. The lens was due back to the store at noon today, so I had to hurry.
So I was there at 10 am and was out of there by noon, 'cause I knew the store would forgive me 30-45 min lateness on the lens return.
Took 2 Gigs of photographs. The lens is amazing, so easy to use, and IS (image stabilization) really helps, I did everything handheld and it did really well. A lot of the pics were taken at full 400mm and they were still sharp as a tack.
There is a HUGE amount of photos in the album, you can see it HERE (http://aquatic-photography.com/pics/gallery/LA%20Zoo%20April%2005/index.html), but to give you a tease, here are a few. PLEASE check out the album, this is just a small sampling of what is there.
The album is divided into:
- Wolves
- Flamingo
- Bambi :)
- Seals (or whatever those are :) )
- General (the rest)
