Somebody lose their job?

Not over that. :p That was the fault of the robot in the machine. The cables that moved the robot were coming loose, and needed to be tightened and then re-calibrated.

My sister[adopted] and I have our bdays 10 days apart, so for about 20 years now we have tried to outdo each other in the ugliest gift ever...I am on the hunt at the garage sales to beat this beast.....:lol::lol:

We had to make new rules.for about 7 years we re-gifted one gnome.it ended up in a wedding dress on a fenced farm, on a plywood base that was huge! Lol.every year we would drop it off and run! We decided it gets to big to store.Lol.....this thing was actually given to my sis as serious garden art!!!

Last anectdote...

There were brothers in Michigan who re-gifted the same tie for many, many years going so far as to bake it into things, bury it under the house, drop it off one Christmas Eve in a 1-ton block of concrete followed the next year by placing it in a Buick crushed down to a cube about two feet per side.

Yeah, they got after it... Always managed to one-up each other for a long time.

What a fun tradition! I had a piece once that would have worked as a gift for one of you. I used to have a monkey that was carved from a single coconut. Weirdest, freakiest looking thing I ever had. I have no idea where I got it from, but I finally threw it away last time I moved... :lol:
