Is an experimental processing that you think works well.

Not an experiment where art is involved but this image is four images hand stacked to expand the DOF. I used the dark areas and the caterpillar bands as the seams carefully erasing the OOF portions of each of the four pictures to get one seamless large DOF picture. Not quite perfect as if you look closely you can see DOF inconsistencies but all in all, it worked.
