Great shot! There's a somewhat similar nighttime vista out here in Ontario, close to Burlington, that's visible from the Skyway bridge--though it would be a bit more of an aerial perspective. Somehow, I've never yet managed to summon up the nerve (self-preservation being a powerful inhibitor) to park myself with a tripod at night on the shoulder of the Q.E.W. with only a low parapet between me and a long drop into Lake Ontario. I think it'll be a while yet before you see a comparison posting from me!:)

Looks like you were able to find a fairly safe vantage point for your shot; can you post some information about the exposure, and how you metered for it?

Very nicely done indeed.

regards,
Terry

Yup all was safe, I was hanging out on the beach on the oppsite side of the inlet.

Ok what we got here... Lens:70-200 2.8L IS@ 170mm ISO:100 TV: 6s AV: F8.0 Metering: partal tripod/mirror lock up/remoteswtich As shot.

I metered off of the two buildings or towers, read zero for the yellow(middle) and plus one for the greenish white(right), finally set it to read + half a stop on the yellow one I think is how it went.

Thanks for the comments, this site is fun.
