I need help from someone in POTN, I misplaced the damn CD and box and formatted my PC. Now I am stuck without being able to colour manage my monitor :(

PS: Why on earth Datacolor asks for a S/N for software that can only be used with their hardware? Really dumb if you ask me...

Because they have different levels of software, at different prices, which work with the same hardware.

If you registered with them, I am sure they will be glad to assist you getting YOUR proper S/N.

Thanks a lot for nothing guys.. I just got the the S/N from Datacolor even without having registered. Is not like someone not owning their hardware can even make use of the software; is like asking for drivers or S/N of Intuos 4. And btw, the BS about the S/N being there because the same hardware works with all different software version (ie. elite working with Pro), sorry guys but your ignorance makes me laugh.. Actually the spyder device is the same in the different packages, the software is different. But yeah, no one is going to give you the numbers, and for you to get upset about that is pitiful and childish. Everyone knows that if you have a legitimate copy of a program and you lose your serial you contact the company....you do not go trolling around for illicit serialz. Oh and your ignorance makes me laugh, google around and you will see that it is only a software difference between pro and express models....thats why you are able to purchase an upgrade to pro at a later date.
