I am wondering if I should replace my heavy duty Photogenic light stand for one with casters for better stability and maneuverability. Wondering what everyone else uses.

If the stand you have is the Photogenic which is about 11-13' model, that should be plenty sturdy for any lightbox up to the 3x4 ft size. If the stand is a bit tippy, I put sandbags or ankle weights on the bottom to stabilize it. Photogenic may sell casters to add to the stand, I know Bogen sells them as add-ons and they may fit the Photogenic.

I use the cheapest General Brand one from B&H. My softbox will tip over if encouraged.
