I've finished designing Lindsey and Justin's 10x10 flush mount wedding album. Thought I'd post a link here for all to see. I'd love some feedback. Thanks!

Shannon, I love the coverage. And the flesh tones are very nice. The window shot was good, but more light may have worked better. The vignetting is too much for me for the work I do, but if the B&G like it, great. Also, the portraits in front of the yellow backdrop were fine, but there are noticeable shadows. Make sure you get the subjects far enough away from the backdrop to eliminate then or do it in post. Lighting can be softer in those portraits. What lenses were you using?

Thanks Suzy! The wedding and reception were at the Delaney Vineyards in Grapevine, TX. The venue was not lit very well. For the ceremony we used the Canon 24-70 f/2.8, 70-200 f/2.8 IS. For some of the reception, I used the Canon 17-40 f/4.
Concerning the vignetting, for this particular album I was going for a dramatic look to match the overall lighting of the ceremony and reception. The couple loved it!

Hey Shannon,
new to the group but not to wedding book layouts. Your photography is great. I like the modeling in many of the shots (very difficult in location shots). The exposures are for the most part quite good. If I had one nitpick about the album design it would be the head and shoulders shots of the wedding party. It reminds me of a yearbook layout. Maybe enlarging the images and spreading them out over more pages would work better if you in fact need to include them. Just my humble opinion.

Thought a lot of them were great shots and I am sure the bride and groom were very pleased. Love the cover pic, great capture and post processing. I do agree that the vignetting was a little much for me, imho-but who cares as long as the bride and groom are happy right?!:)

Great job Shannon! Most of us know how hard it is to design albums! Specially if your like me and want every one to be totally different. I love the look of the images. It definitely captures the mood and goes well with the "feeling" the venue gives. I'm sure they will she (bride) will shed a tear or two when she sees it. And isn't that what we all are going for!?! ;)

Looks really great..question, I do 10x10 flush mounts also but I use 10x10 templates or Album DS but the 10x10 setting..yours are not 10x10..do you crop them 10x10 making 2 pages from one? Cause they look like 10x20..I would love to keep mine 10x20 but mount them like that also...

Yes, these are 10x20 images for a 10x10 flush mount album. I do not crop them to 10x10 pages. I use Photoshop actions from www.FlushMountPro to build the pages. The actions have trim guids around the edges and one in the center to show where the "gutter" will be. I upload the 10x20 images to my album company and they print, cut, trim and mount the images in the album for me.
There is an instructional video on how to use the actions on Flush Mount Pro's website. The pages created by the actions are completey customizeable and are super easy to use. Check it out. I think you'll like it.

Ok I'll check it out. I have 10x20 templates myself and even use Album DS and it customizes it's 10x20 templates to whatever size you want but you have to get them printed as 10x10 and mount them yourself...thanks for the info...I'll check it out..
