Hi

I am trying out my new 350D.
I have a light tent setup using 4 halogen-tungstun lights 150w,
What ISO should I be using, I have been using 100 and 200, I am taking closeup pictuers of watches so I need them to be as clear as possible
Thanks for any advice

Any static set-up I "studio" shoot is on a tripod @ ISO 100. Even if/when the exposure is 8 seconds. Use a remote release or the self timer. If the 350D has mirror lock-up, use that too.

Since you are shooting static objects, go for the lowest ISO you have on your camera and the smallest fstop you need for the depth of field of your object. Time isn't a factor as long as you are on a tripod and nothing is moving (object, camera or light tent).

I normally shoot at ISO 100 and f16 to f22 when I shoot with my light tent or macro tubes.
