Photo show notice?

I have never posted here, although I frequent the tutorials at canon an read through things.

I have joined the forum now, and would like to know the policy on posting notices of Photography shows for other members.

I am part of an artist-co op, as a photographer, and we run several open entry shows for artists each year.

These are real shows. Not a sales come-on. But I wonder if it would be ok to post an invitation here for other photographers to take part.

I don't want to be banned my first day!

I have been looking for a way to contact the forum guide directly, but did not find a link.

You may post your competition in the Photo Industry News section. If you need to contact the Moderators but aren't sure who, you may use the "Report Post" button. Otherwise, at the bottom of each forum is a list of the moderators with links to their profiles. Note that if you send a message to one or two Moderators response will be slower than if you use Report to send a message.

Another thing that you can do once you have created that post is to link to it in your signature so that whenever you make a post in other areas people can read your signature and see the link.
