I was sold a solution of ROR and a pack of pec-pads. I was advised to do the following:
1. Blow dirt off lens with rocket blower
2. Spray liquid onto pec-pad
3. Wipe from center to outside of glass in circular motion
4. Wait for liquid to dry
However, I've found that simply waiting to dry leaves a slight residue on the lens. Should I:
A. Use lens pen to wipe away extra residue
B. Use less liquid and only follow steps 1-4 above
C. Use a micro fiber cleaning cloth for step 2 above (instead of pec-pad)
D. Use Ziess pre-moistened cloths (though, I've found these leave a bit more residue versus pec/ROR, but evaporate more quickly than ROR)
E. Other, please specify: _____________
I want to exercise the most cautious method to take care of my glass. I know there are folks who use a T-shirt but that is not something I am willing to do based on my personal preference; time is not an issue here.
