New night shot gallery. I`m still trying out different ways to do this kind off photography.

GERT

I spent an hour last night listening to your Canadian Ambassador to Canada talk about the challenges facing the EU. Very interesting.

I like these shots. I suppose you might try to frame a single subject if you could get closer.

But I am also wondering if there might be a simpler close-up shot. Everyone shoots cityscapes. Is there a night shot equivalent of .. a flower .. or a frog... or a sunset ... or a portrait .... or a bunch of balloons ?

Real nice shots. Just to compare, I did similar things in December here in Zurich, Switzerland.

these are just beautiful too
wondering how did I miss them on my journey through all the rest of the pictures
really lovely night views of st peters and grossmunster church
and those strung lights hanging down overhead on bahnhofstrasse, they must have been beautiful to walk under in the evenings
also at zurich main station
I wonder what happens if there is very bad storm while lights like it are hanging up during the season
( like we are having just now, bad weather, bitter cold howling wind and rain : )
really nice shots
best wishes

The story behind my photos of Zurich's lights is funny:
I didn't have the intention to take pictures. I was going to town to do specific shopping. Then something was out of stock. In my frustration I thought that it would be nice to take some pictures but I didn't have my tripod with me. My G2 is nearly always in my backpack. Therfore I got some unusual perspectives like the frog's perspective of Bahnhofstrasse, where I had to put the camera to the ground next to the rails of the tram.
The last shot of the railway station was "free hand".
