Hello! I'm new to the forum and I can't wait to share and learn tons about photography. I purchased my 50D back in October and I've been having a blast with it. I have been practicing on family and friend but as of now I am nervous to show my pictures to the public. I have joined this forum to build my confidence so I look forward to sharing my thoughts and pix with all.

Welcome! For your information - if you'd like you can turn on "image edit ok". This allows us to edit and repost an image shared by you. Helps to get other prospectives on your images. And info as to how we post process them.

Go to > user cp > edit profile > in the bottom section check yes for "image edit and reposting"

I understand your fear of people not appreciating your work or seeing things the way you do. But, that is apart of photography some will love it some will hate it. You just have to take what you can learn from it, and ignore the rest.

Posting is actually a really good thing to do, I have learned alot over the past year of being on photography forums, the critques are usually friendly and the advice is free!
