Killer squirrel

Well, after a great day of surfing I was in the parking lot changing out of my wetsuit when I hear someone yell, "Watch your toes!" I was scared to death and jumped back, almost falling over (my wetsuit was almost around my ankles). To my surprise, I see this little squirrel charging at me. I figured he would go away once I took notice of him but instead he sat there and waited for me to look away, then he'd charge at my toes again! There was nothing I could do to get him to go away so I decided to snap a quick picture. I tried to get him on my surfboard but he just wouldn't do it.

The picture isn't that great but I think the with the surfboard in the background it kind of captures the moment well. Unfortunately, he was a little camera shy and wouldn't look at me. I guess he thinks his rear end is his more photogenic side.

Ha ha...it didn't actually get me. I had a hard time getting him to go away though. Everytime I went to finish taking off my wetsuit he'd come at me. I found out later that all the guys who surf there feed him chips and candy.

Yep...all 9 are there.

The ironic part is that a week before the squirrel, these birds were pecking at my toes. But when I caught them they tried to pretend it wasn't them.
