Right now I am using the on camera light meter for exposing all my shots. It's a bit of hit and miss, and I am using a bit more trial and error trying to focus on an 18% grey card.
I saw a Sekonic L-328 Digilite F Light Meter used for sale for $120cdn in one of my local camera stores. I have downloaded the manual and it seems to offer most of everything that I would need. I am wondering if this is an acceptable light meter for someone to learn off. Or is this just going to be a waste of my time and money?
I currently shoot quite a range of things from Landscape/Architectural to Portraits and family events. I am looking to make this into a career and am enrolled at my local college in the photography program.
I know this is not a must have right now, but want to get an opinion on if this is a reasonably good deal.
Matt.
