DIGITAL SHOOT OUT™ WAMEGO is a 24-hour day-in-the-life, juried digital photography contest to be shot in and around Wamego, Kansas on the weekend of April 25 and 26, 2009.
Open to professionals, beginners, artists, amateurs, snap-shot artists, traditionalists, avant garde-ists, digital manipulators, everyone and anyone!
Shoot as many pictures as you like.
Submit your best/favorite digital shot for the jury's consideration and potential inclusion in Digital Postcard Wamego, 2009 Edition™.
Come join in the fun and celebrate digital photography, the arts, and spring in the Flint Hills.

24 hours of DIGITAL SHOOT-OUT™ commences.
SUNDAY APRIL 26TH
10:00 A.M. DIGITAL SHOOT OUT™ ends.
Image Submission Deadline, followed by Jurors’ Evaluation.
1:00 P.M. Digital Postcard Wamego, 2009 Edition Public Premiere & Artists’ Award Recognition.
Artists and friends are encouraged to attend.
Benefitting the Arts
Proceeds of the sale of Digital Postcard Wamego, 2009 Edition™ will benefit the THURSDAYs in WAMEGO Civic Arts Project.
Copies of the digital compact disc can be purchased through www.digicamarts.com and at select area retailers.

Pay registration fees via Pay Pal Registration fee is $10.
On-line registration must be completed before April 23rd, at www.digicamarts.com.
All registrants must "check in" at event headquarters to be eligible to submit any digital image as an entry.
On-site or late registration can be completed at the event, April 25th. Late registration fee is $20.
Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
Successful registrants will be provided one copy of Digital Postcard Wamego, 2009 Edition for personal (NON-COMMERCIAL) use.

Summary of Rules and Conditions
Images must be taken or created within the 24-hour period and within the City of Wamego, Kansas, or surrounding 10 miles.
Participants are encouraged to shoot as many images as they like but may submit only one digital image for the juror’s consideration and for potential inclusion in a compiled Digital Postcard Wamego, 2009 Edition™.
"Photographer's Credit" will be noted on submitted entries.
Entrants may retain the copyright of their respective entry but, in exchange for the jury's consideration of their entry and inclusion in the digital postcard, each entrant agrees to assign and grant to digicamarts LLC, its principals, agents, successors and assigns the right to display, sell or otherwise transfer images or copies of all submitted images and reproductions of images.
Images included in the digital postcard will be treated with a security watermark.
Complete rules and conditions are available on-line. Agreement to and acknowledgement of Rules and Conditions is a condition of entry and participation.
Other Information
Digital manipulation, enhancement, alteration, or modification of images is permitted but not required.
Images including identifiable persons must be accompanied by an appropriate general model releases available at www.digicamarts.com .
To be submitted to the jury and considered for inclusion in Digital Postcard Wamego, 2009 Edition™, all digital images must be submitted by email attachment per instructions to be provided at check-in.
Final submission instructions, file size and format requirements, as well as a secure email address for submission will be provided at the Welcome and Photographers Meeting or subsequent Check-In.

Wamego, Kansas, is an historic 1890's community of just under 5,000 people is located on the Kansas River about 15 miles east of Manhattan and 30 minutes west of Topeka.
