Here are some additional pictures (1-6) from this afternoon's indoor session using off-camera-flash with TT1 and TT5. Your suggestions will be appreciated...

So how do you like the Flex and Mini? I have some on order.
What was your OCF source, speedlite? Did you dial down your ambient a bit on these?

TT1/TT5 have been performing well. In these pictures, I mounted the 580EX-II on a TT5, located in a Westcott's Apollo softbox (28"x28"). In pictures with the synthesizer, there are three large windows facing my son; I placed the softbox on the left, about three feet away. So far, I have been using the eTTL in AV, and letting the camera (1Ds Mark III with 85mm f/1.2L) pick the right shutter speed. The white balance was calibrated using an 18% grey card.
Note that I don't use Photoshop (perhaps I should), and instead improve sharpening and cropping in Aperture. The printed pictures (Canon Pro9000 on 13x19 Photo Paper Plus Glossy II) have far exceeded my expectations.
