Hello everyone,

April 9, 2005. The ice is just out of the Bouctouche River, in New Brunswick, Canada. Here the first canoe of the season heads quietly down the river. There were still large ice chunks all along the bank.

Were you the second canoe? I am dying to get out and do some canoing... I have a new baby though and can't get free to go.

The ice hasn't quite cleared up here yet! But this pic is getting me psyched! I do a lot of canoeing, kayaking, and rafting and I can't wait to get started.

Beautiful shot, I bet with all that ice on the banks, the water is mighty COLD. brrrrr :lol: :lol:

Thank you all for your comments and I'm glad you enjoyed the photo. It was a great day. I canoed for about 20 miles and stopped at this spot which happens to be my land.
