She's got a nice smile.
Maybe use a bounce flash next time? It's reflecting off the larger melon, and the light through the window is also blown out. Also might have been nice to focus on her, and not the fruit.

While not impossible, it is more difficult to take a good shot with a P&S b/c you have so much less control.
Honestly, I'd have turned the flash off and have her face more towards the window and use the natural light.
The fruit do nothing for me in this shot but block (and distract from) the subject (or what I'd consider the subject).
May use a bounce flash next time?
They do need more P&S light modifiers. Taken with a Canon DIGITAL IXUS 80 IS (thats Powershot SD1100 IS over here in the US); so he could bounce the flash if he had something to use as a bounce/reflector (but it's definitely no 580EXII).

To me it is simply a snapshot and not really a photo. The background is distracting as well as the light off the large melon.

I get the pictorial pun of melons in a Hooters bar -- melons being a slang term for women's breasts and all that. The idea is clever. But if melons is the theme, the mangos and oranges and apple don't really contribute anything and sort of muddle the message. And the photo itself has some technical issues as previous posters have pointed out.

Really would have been more humorous if she was possible holding the melon and the other fruits were absent. The lighting is simply out of control with this shot. I can understand that you may like it for your own reasons but on a spectrum of photography it lacks much.
