what can i do to this shot to make it better ..i used a canon 10D 24-70mm f2.8 lens and two strobes, one with a 28" octagon softbox and the other with a white 45" shoot threw umbrella. settings are f8 - 1/125.

The shoes and left leg, looks a little dirty. Maybe you can PS to make it clean.
For an active pic, it's better not to put the object at midpoint.

Closer crop would be better. The dirt on her foot definitely stands out with all that white. Her left hand looks like it is just floating there. Seems like you took the shot while she was trying to get out of the seat.

give her a teddy or doll something to hold you would get a lot more shots, rather than just sat there alone so to speak . nice shot though , clean the shoes ;)

crop definitely. im not sure if your intention was to make the entire picture light (if it is then ignore the following comment) but i would try darkening either the background or the pj's (maybe contrast or sat or hue change in ps)

the lighting looks pretty even, though id have to say the rest is not very interesting. she is very cute, but id rather see her smiling on sitting on the ground with somethingbto play with. this kinda looks like a sears portrait, it doesnt capture her personality. but the exposure and lighting are great.
