Hi,

I had the pleasure to photograph a really wonderful couple's wedding day here in Tokyo. This is actually my first post in the wedding forums and also my first wedding as a wedding photographer.

If you would like to see some more photos please let me know. I would greatly appreciate comments and help on what I could do better.

Also, to any of you New Zealand pros I will be going back to New Zealand early next year to set up a wedding/portrait business. Any tips or advice on this would be great!

You can see the full set HERE (http://www.stclair-photography.com/blog/) along with a slide show.

Please do not use my images without my permission.

These few shots look great! It'd be nice to know what equipment (body, lens) you used though.

Thanks. I used a 5D, 16-35 II, 50mm f/1.4, 135mm f/2. But most of this gear has been sold now as I'm moving to a Leica setup. Maybe I shouldn't say this out loud here...

Nice series. I bet the couple and family were happy with such nice photos.

And what a change...Canon to Leica! I'm jealous!

Photos are super sharp and all filled with some great moments. Nicely done. Makes me feel like I'm actually there.

Way to be at the right places at the right time! You seem to have captured all the best moments!

Thanks for the great comments guys. I actually shot this wedding for free to build up my portfolio, so I think the couple are super happy. I'm shooting a few more this year which should finish off my portfolio before I head back to New Zealand to start a business.

Yeah Canon to Leica should be interesting, I love using rangefinders but loathed the weight of my Canon gear.

Gorgeous! I especially love the last one--it's like a "movie-star" wedding and I love how the light reflects off her pearls. So elegant!
