Has anyone tried using a pop-up LCD sunshade hood to prevent the sun washout of the camera LCD screens? This site at Ebay has "Delkin Pop-Up Shade 2.4 2.5 Inch LCD Hood" (plus many, many more) of only $8 USD.

Would these be more of a pain in the ass than practical?I have a A1000 IS.
