My second ever Bridal shoot. This one was very special to me as the beautiful bride is my oldest daughter!

Enjoy and C&C is always welcomed.

I like 5 a lot, but there's a spot on her dress (in the knee area) that's quite noticable...The last one is gorgeous!

Thanks. I didn't notice the spot. I'll clone it out.

The 4th and 7th ones are by far my favs. The 7th one is stunning!! Great command of the lighting on that one.

Thanks man. The lighting was the same setup for all the shots (except the exterior one) I placed a large softbox on the top of the stairs and simply opened the front door (camera left) to let in some soft ambient light. I metered the light and varied the aperture a bit to get more or less punch from the softbox.

All are very nice.

On # 3, correct me if I'm wrong...CTO gel (3/4?) on flash, WB set to Tungsten?

great shots, how much time did you spend on the series?

Good call but no. WB set to 5600, no CTO on flash. Clouds were modified in PS to add the blue. The original shot has the clouds grey. My wife thought it would look better to add some blue.

I spent about 2.5 hours shooting and came away with about 300 keepers. There's a few other setups that I didn't like as much so I didn't bother posting them. Here's one of them.

I then spent about 2-3 hours in post. Mostly culling down the shots to my favorites. I spent a couple hours retouching the background on several shots.

Nice colors overall. On shots like #1, I try not to shot the subject straight on. I would have directed the bride to turn her head to the right just until the ear was not viewable and slightly tilt her head towards the wall.

From someone who shoots a lot of bridals ...... your are well done! Beautiful. You captured the beauty of your daughter and her personality in the photos. You should be extremely proud....... sometimes it is tough to photograph people close to use but you nailed it!
