I recently came into a Minolta 5400xi flash, which works perfectly, always has, and fits well on a Minolta SLR body.
However it has a very awkward shoe mount and I don't own a sony/minolta body.
I would like to use this in a strobist setup, but I am not sure how to trigger it. I have looked for adapters to connect it to my wireless triggers (cactus v2s), though not more than some for other Minolta flashes, or optical slave triggers etc, nothing I have found yet to be 100% for the 5400xi model.
So if I can't find a way to wirelessly trigger it, I'll sell it to someone who can use it (not sure who that includes though), then buy other strobes. If anybody has any advice or suggestions, especially if you've encountered this yourself, I would appreciate it.
Thanks for any help,
bo
