Was out last night, around 02:00 ( I like it, no people) when I saw the most amazing thing. A Fox starts looking around behind me sniffing away, then he flushes out a mouse and is quite happy to play mouse ball while a bloke with a camera gets close enough to get these with only a 50mm 1.8.

Sorry they're only B/W I was set up for something else and didn't want to risk changing settings in case he ran off.

The END for the MOUSE

Is that on the Embankment?

Someone must have told them about the ban, they are everywhere now :D

Nice capture

Haha! That's so cool! A very unusual setting for a fox to be in too.

Wow! That is really cool! And I like the mood of the 'late night', works well!

I've never seen a real 'live' fox before. But I have seen a mountain lion in my back yard! I wanted to take a pic, but it's hard to focus the camera when your running as fast as you can and screaming like a girl!

It is only a tiny little mouse I know, hardly a meal, even for a fox. I think the Fox fancied a change from kebab and chips.

Yeah thats Albert Embankment on the south side between lambeth bridge and westminster bridge. This must be the fox that was found wandering round the houses of parliament looking for a chat with the P.M

Now a wild Mountain lion would be an impressive capture, do you think they like mouse?

Heh, the foxes in London and the home counties are so urban now.
I see them quite a lot, they just come out onto the street, sometimes you see them during day!
They have become cheeky :)

Good shots.

That's not a fox that's Tony Blair.
He's one of those shape shifting Illuminati, just ask Davis Icke.
At night he changes into a sly old fox and stalks the weak and helpless in the capital.
Why else would he ban hunting?

I vote Labour BTW. True ! .... :?

I thought it was that old iron ore thatcher that did the night stalking bit, especially now she's got the company of count (sp?) howard to go out blood sucking with ;)

Now this is a treat. A political discussion I don't understand or care about....

Great picture opportunity. I count it a wonderful day when I get to see a fox or a coyote or a deer wander through the area. To have a camera handy is even better.

Loved the comment about banning the fox hunts...
