software compatibility?

I am fixing to buy either the Rebel xt or a D20, can the bundled software that comes with these be loaded on a pc with win98?

look on the back of the CD cover, it's written on it ;) (or in the manual for the software).

I think it should work, but im not 100% sure, so you might wanna check

Yes certainly it does run on Windows 98.

My literature for the 20D states 98 SE :)

I don't have Windows 98, but as far as I know Digital Photo Professional does not work (properly) on Windows 98. In other places on the Internet I've read that not all functions are available on Windows 98.

Or am I wrong? Any of you Windows 98 people using DPP?
