Out trying to shoot a sundog this evening that got away, but thought I would try something anyway

great example of depth of field, for some reason it just doesnt grab me, but i really like the exposure, the way the string goes in.
perhaps its the crop? i definately like the color better.
all things considered solid image : )

Cool experiment, If I were to have done it I would gave lowered the shutter.

Thanks for the comments all. I think the monochrome version is probably a bit dark in the background

I like the color one better. There's a reddish area in the background below the pins that distracts a bit but other than that it's a nice image.

Sorry, I don't know why I said "Shutter", I meant Aperture.

Cool shot. I like the angle of the lens to the wire... and color version looks better...

Nice idea. I think I prefer the color image.
