Hi,
i just took delivery of my new 100-400mm yesterday and i have noticed that the tripod mounting ring has a smaller screw type fitting than my 70-200 f2.8
At first i was worried that it wasn't going to screw onto my monopod but fortunately it does as the monopod has a dual fitting screw.
Why are the different? Is it because one came from the states and the other from HK?
