So a good friend of mine who is an avid fly fisher invited me to come with him up to his cabin in Slate Run Pennsylvania next week, I am not a fisherman, but figured it would be a nice week to take off from work, relax, play guitar, and of course shoot a few photos. I am wondering if anyone has any experience in the area up there? I know Pine Creek Gorge is about an hour north of where I will be... so I think I am planning on doing a day trip up there, does anyone else have any other suggestions for places to check out, I have a whole week to fill.

I'm thinking of a place called the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon.
Was there 20 yrs ago and don't remember it's real name or where it is. :oops:

Well, I just got home from the trip. Overall it was a pretty good time, unfortunately, we did get a lot of overcast rainy days, but I was able to get a few shots that I am pretty happy with. If anyone is interested, you can check them out on my website under the gallery titled Slate Run Pa.
